How to use
Step 1: Press the button and don’t release, also don’t move the stud finder, you will find the red light flash for times and then the flash turns off. That means the stud finder memorized the current depth of object.
Step 2: When the red flash turns off, move the stud finder from left to right with constant speed slowly. When the red flash of stud finder starts to flash gradually fast, it means the stud finder senses the stud and gradually close to the stud.
Step 3: When the red flash lights on without flash, that’s the edge of stud, marks “A”;
Step 4: Then put the stud finder to the right, and make the same operating method to the left. When the red flash lights on without flash, that’s the other edge of stud, marks ”B”;
Step 5: Get the middle of “A” and “B”, marks “C”, that’s the middle of stud;
Step 6: Draw a line which is vertical of the the connection of “A” and “B”, this is the middle of the whole of stud. This is on the condition of knowing the stud is squared and vertical. If not, you need to test each of the edge, then get to know the whole middle of stud.
